Altar Boys—Acolytes

No greater privilege is bestowed upon a young man of the parish than being chosen to serve God and His Church as an altar boy. It is a unique opportunity to assist in the Altar during the liturgical services. There are three stages of participation: the novice – those that just started learning their way around and they wear white robes and a red sash; the golden robes – those that have been appointed to serve as altar boys and the black robes – the young adults and the adults that were appointed to serve as acolytes. Many of them had the blessing of being tonsured by His Eminence for this position. Our altar servers supervisor is Sub-deacon Nicholas Choueri. To serve in the Holy Altar, please contact Fr. John.
